Soriano Removed From Tonight's Game

Looks like something could be cooking, as Alfonso Soriano was just removed for Robert Fick in the 5th inning of tonight's game.

The realist in me says it could just be that the Nats want to protect their top commodity given that they have no chance to win tonight's game down 11-1.

Yeah, it would look pretty bad if he pulled his hammy in an 11-1 blowout. What's the latest? Astros, Angels, Mariners, Twins, Tigers, maybe ChiSox? Yankees? Mets? Crap, is there any team NOT in the running for Soriano?

Word is that ChiSox are unlikely, and Mets will probably focus on pitching. As far as the rest, it could be any of 'em but my money's on Detroit.

Roto, why are you leaving the David Bell trade out? He is the next Mike Schmidt!

I have to go with your realist side. He is taken out because they are getting their asses handed to them tonight

Mike Schmidt in 1988-89!

Would the Twins give up Garza for him? Wouldn't fit their MO.
