Yanks had to do something just to make sure their name popped up in the final hour of the trade deadline...

now, if sheff and/or matsui dont come back in september they will still have a no holes lineup in october....

even though craig wilson isn't that great. hasn't been since '04. i think the yanks could have did better

I'd love to see the pictures that cashman has of littlefield cheating on his wife...another great trade for the yankees...

The Dodgers have swung a deal for the Cubs' Greg Maddux, pending approval by the commissioner because the transaction involves more than $1 million changing hands.

rosenthal said he has more deals

there's really no need for another bat for the Yanks...i'd thought they would want to hold onto any extra SP in case some of their starters go down...

Chacon's been so bad that they could really fill in anyone with the same results. Craig Wilson at least gives them a big power bat who can play 1st and the OF (and even catch in an emergency). He's far from a savior, but this is a zero-downside trade for the yankees.
