Seung-Yeop Lee To Remain In Japan
Sorry about reporting old news - this one's a week old. But I figure maybe some of you had not heard.
30 year-old Korean slugger Seung-Yeop Lee will remain in Japan for the 2007 season. Lee hit an Asian record 56 home runs in 2003. After that season he spoke with the Cubs, Marlins, and Dodgers but could not find a guaranteed Major League deal to his liking. Last spring he received attention for mashing five homers in the WBC.
