MLBTR ProTrade Live Chat Transcript

ProTrade was kind enough to let me try out their ProTrade Live tool during last night's Cubs game.  During the game, people fired off questions and I tried to answer most of them.  Most pertained to possible trades, with a few fantasy questions mixed in.  It was a great time, and I'm sure we'll be doing more of these.

You mention Dye possibly to the A's?

Possibly, but there is a thing abotu ReActs, so I don't think the A's would go there.

And I don't see the A's trading Gaudin or Blanton. A's don't usually trade good, cheap, young pitching.

But I could see the A's trading Joe Kennedy, who is pitching much better than he should be this year, though his ERA has jumped up a run recently to 3.50 from 2.50. Kennedy is a Free Agent after 2007.

I could also see them being eager to trade Esteban Loaiza, who is currently on the DL with kneck/knee issues, but that might be for the off season.

And again, Rich Harden will come up in rumors.

The A's could also trade Lenny DiNardo while he's having all these great starts, especially when they feel that Dan Meyer is ready to take the 5th Starter slot. It appears that once Meyer is able to get to the 6th+ inning, he'll be called up.

thanks zonis
