Who did he say are the players going back to Texas? Yesterday one was undecided (Harrison).

Yes, Harrison is going. If the Rangers were unhappy with his MRI, they would have included Davies. Instead the Texas trade went through and the Royals trade followed within seconds as noted by ESPN.

because if harrison was able to be traded davies was going to be part of that deal

Wow, a 1B and 2 desireable BP arms brought to ATL... SP or not, this team just took a huge step forward for this years run...

ESPN is really making a point that Arroyo doesn't want to leave Cincy so we'll see how that works.

these trades were win-win deals for all clubs involed

Got a source for Harrison's inclusion? Link?

wickman for prospects anyone? or another left hander in pen and one prospect? RP in such high demand now might not be to far fetched
Posted by: rgdeuce | July 31, 2007 at 01:57 PM
Wow, so Texas likes Harrison more than Davies? I guess when you consider the service time that makes sense, but from a pure pitching perspective, Davies has to be the better guy at this point....
Right?

Davies gave up 14 HRs in 63 innings last year at the MLB level... I don't like this move for the Royals. I wish he had gone to TEX, where he could mire with the historically pathetic Rangers.
