Man what a good deal that was for the Jays.

Good riddance! Another Sabean blunder!!

Solid control? That clown has a talent for hanging a slider/curve ball at exactly the wrong moment. Seems like he makes at least 1 mistake to every hitter and its only a matter of how hard they hit it. This past Sunday was a great example of his inability to execute. Good riddance.

Nice, use his 12 inning 08 sample size against him while ignoring his dominance over 70 innings last season. You won me over.

So long Vinnie Choke... you dominated at all the wrong time, and CHOKED during all the big one! So long Vinnie Choke!

cmon guys accardo was closing games for the jays last year. 30 saves and an era barely over 2. the dude was lights out all year after ryan was injured, not to mention he was kicking ass for me in fantasy baseball. that giants team is just sad.

Vinnie Chulk was one of biggest losers in the 100+ year history of the Giants.
The Giants team is sad? Oh yeah hows Alex Rios looking this year. Looks like the Jays are having another great season - when was the last time you guys made the playoffs??

sample size... what a joke... chulk had an era of 3.57 last year... not bad... now he's dfa'd... my point is, the league makes adjustments... accardo is not a closer... he was disguised as one last year simply because he has a decent fastball and no one had seen him before... and just like chulk, he was getting hit this year...
decent pitchers make a "splash" all the time, but only the studs sustain it... and accardo will show that he is not a stud...
with all that being said... it was NOT a good deal by sabean and I'm happy to see chulk go... Tyler Walker next... followed closely by Yabu

well lets see, I agree Rios hasn't lived up to expectations yet this year, however in June his line is.
.329 ba .373 OBP and .461 slg

Also how many times would the Giants of made the playoffs in the AL east? With the exception of this year bragging about doing something in the kiddie league doesn't mean much.

ohan, just because the jays have been horrible doesnt mean the giants arent horrible as well. they both suck. i would say the giants have more of an excuse but point is the giants and jays r sad. that comment u made is like saying u r smarter than a cubs fan. that may be true but my alarm clock is smarter than most cubs fans so who cares.
