Julian Tavarez's time in Milwaukee is up; he was designated for assignment to make room for David Riske. He pitched in seven games for the Brewers and was knocked around in three of those outings.

Wonder if Brian Cashman will add Tavarez to the mix as well....

Tavarez will be picked up, even he is showing that he can't pitched in the big leagues anymore. I always been a fan of Tavarez, he can go for innings, and be a starting pitcher to mid reliever. However it seems he is in the same category as Gagne, as someone who's stuff isn't overpowering...
