I wish I was on today cause I would of asked about something whacky like Burnett for Myers. Kinda new change of scenery for both guys.

I really wanted your thoughts on the starter, if any, you think the Cubs might obtain. I thought Murton, Veal and Cedeno for Bedard woud make sense.

…Yeah, throw in Pie and Gallagher and you might be onto something… (although, you might need to replace Veal with Ceda)

But I can see the M's wanting more ML-ready talent to take over for the other parts they want to ship out/DFA. Murton will come in handy in the LF/1B/DH spots which could be opening up. Gallagher would fill the vacant rotation spot. Pie would be given a shot to be Ichiro's replacement while Veal (or Ceda) would give them a projectable prospect to watch. Cedeno probably wouldnt be included, Seattle already has young possible-upside middle infielders that cant hit, but who knows, they might take him...
