According to the Arizona Republic, the Diamondbacks claimed lefty Wil Ledezma off waivers from the Padres. Ledezma, 27, posted a 4.47 ERA in 54.1 innings. Walks have been a problem for him. He's under team control through 2010, if the D'Backs want to go to arbitration with him.

Interesting... Move will end up paying off for D'Backs!

I don't know if it will. The Tigers gladly traded him to the Braves who cut him then the Padres signed him and put him on waivers. He added some mph on his fastball this year so if he can get his control under, er...control then he might one day be useful.
