A healthy Albert Pujols? That's stuff for the movies man.

Pujols might have a better year, but its not all about himself. Dont think that he would make the Cards a first place team

who would want sheffield? he is a dirtbag who cant even hit .225. he doesnt care about the tigers, all he cares about is himself.
its better that they release him.

Can Albert hit home runs and close games with that barking elbow? Yep, the movies.

Who was going to texas in that raffy deal. I cant find the info

For a guy with a "barking elbow", Pujols (.347, 24 HR's) is kicking some serious ass. I'd take an injured Pujols over a healthy Derreck Lee anyday (and he's younger than Lee).

Detroit needs to move Sheffield, but they're going to have to eat contract. His inability to play LF well eliminates NL teams from the mix. He doesn't hustle; he's not a good LF at this point in his career; either put up or shut up.
Example: Tigers are down 2 runs. Sheff hits into a GIDP ball in the bottom of the 9th. He lightly jogged to 1st, looking as if he's not trying to beat out the throw.

wonder if omar would be interested in sheff... what's one more old hitter who can rake when healthy?

I feel your anger. Aramis Ramirez also has a hard time deciding whether it's worth his time to run hard or fast coming out of the box (if a ball club were to pay me millions of dollars I'd be running my ass off just going from the dugout to the on-deck circle).
Are there any teams who fine players for a lack of hustle?

I believe the first report of Pujols' "barking elbow" came from Will Ohman's shoulder
