Is it possible that Tom Gordon steps in as the stop gap until Billy Wagner is back and attempts his luck at closing again? I can see it happening if the Mets cannot land Fuentes.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Counsel manning 2B for the DBacks next year. We seem to be a nostalgia type organization.

Speaking of "nostalgia" is there any chance that the Red Sox bring Tom Gordan back on a low-base incentive-laden deal? They are looking for relievers.
