Every time Boras speaks, a puppy dies.

Derek Lowe...Bob Gibson?

bor as is out of control. at what point do his clients stop seeking rediculous contracts and start focusing on winning world series.

well why not both, siegel? i mean i can make a hell of alot of money, and still want to win a ring. thats like double awesome!
seriously though, boras is a monstrosity!

I don't think even Boras believes what comes out of his own mouth anymore. But it does serve his purpose. He spouts off ridiculous demands, thus making the contract he really wants his client to sign sound reasonable.
Look at Manny. In August, everyone said he'd be lucky to get 2 years at $20 mil. Boras wants 6 years. He'll probably get 3 or 4 at $25 mil.
He did it with A Rod last year. Now he's trying to take the focus off Tek's inability to hit a baseball by talking Posada money.
