Giants Interested In Uribe?

MLB.com's hot stove blog passes along a Chicago Tribune report that the Giants may be interested in free agent infielder Juan Uribe.  "Club insiders" didn't deny the interest when MLB.com asked.

The Giants could use Uribe at any of the infield positions.  The 29 year-old hit just .247/.296/.386 in 353 plate appearances, however.

no no no no no

Take him, see if I care.

Not baseball realted. Lets go Obamaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I'm in NYC and it sounds like the Yanks won the WS.

please god don't say it's true.. NO NO NO i echo

BARACK OBAMA!!!!

I hate Brian Sabean!

I'd rather bring back Richie

Sox would be stupid if they let someone else sign him. The guy is a top defensive player and has stepped up for the White Sox so much in the past. If he is OK with playing that reserve infield position then I say Sox need to resign him. Whoever gets him better not expect anything offensively from him. Maybe a couple HR streaks here and there but thats about it.

Thanks for the link.

No problem.

NO!, please sabean prove to us you are not a complete failure my NOT even thinking about signing uribe.

The bidding war must be fierce for this guy. This should put the Giants over the top!

Any time Sabean is in a room with a veteran’s agent the bidding is a fierce war. Even if there are only 2 people in the room.
