Anyone think the Angels could pry away Matt Kemp from the Dodgers in a package centered around Erick Aybar?

I honestly don't think anyone's even shared the thought, but does anyone think Manny Ramirez could possibly end up with the Angels?
We all know they have the money, and a spot open in left field if they don't bring back GA. I just see the Angels as the team with Manny that could pull the rug from under all the other teams and be able to sign him. I think Manny would love the idea to play in the AL and get back at the Red Sox too. Maybe it's what the Angels need.
Any other thoughts?

I don't think the Dodgers would value Matt Kemp for Erick Aybar. To make that work I think the Angels would have to throw in another hitting prospect along with a pitching prospect.
Kemp is already an established major league hitter, while Aybar is a great defender, he hasn't established himself at the plate.

Nomar can stay with a bench role, but no more than that. Kent should be forced out the door.
I could see Furcal resigned, or target a stopgap SS who could be had cheaply. 3B? I have no idea. Could Dewitt be moved there, with an Orlando Hudson signed? I really don't know.
Bullpen- I have no idea. Hold on to Beimel?
Rotation- I think its safe to say one of the top FA starters is going to LA. My bet's CC.

Not a chance in the world. The Angels have pretty much nothing that makes sense for the Dodgers to trade Kemp. A fair deal for Kemp would probably be Figgins + Santana, and I don't see the Angels doing that.

AA - I could see Santana for Kemp straight up happening. Young pitcher for a young hitter, but adding Figgins in there is somethign the Angels would never do.
Figgins for Santana for .290/20/85 guy is WAY too much.

I don't see Kemp going to the Angels unless Saunders/Santana is in the deal.

It's something called upside. Kemp has mad upside.

As a Twins fan i continue to pray the Dodgers let Furcal walk. If the sign Manny and another big market starter (Lowe, Perez, CC) and sign a Casey Blake type player plus arbitration they might find it a bit tough to find 13-16 mil for Furcal. He is by far the best SS on the market and i think it would be a huge mistake for them not to sign him but i would love to see him in minnesota, he is a real difference maker

Kemp has upside, yeah. But Santana is an established pitcher with Cy Young candidate potential.
No GM in their right mind would trade a young talented pitcher such as Santana for a young, unestablished, outfielder. Of all positons, an outfielder. If we are talking a middle infielder or maybe even a young 3B with those number things may be different.

Kemp for Aybar plus others? Those others better be Saunders and Wood.
Yes, i know its rediculous, thats the point.

The Dodgers don't need any players from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim/Dominican Republic.

Spencer - The reason it would take that much to get Kemp is because he has very real 30/30 and 40/40 upside. You don't put a ball into the loge at Dodger Stadium without a ton of power.
I'm not saying it would be a good move for the Angels, I am just saying what it would take to get Kemp. Further, the Angels really don't need Kemp anyway. They pay 18m. Year for Torii Hunter to play CF and Vlad wants to play RF more again. It is a massive waste to have Kemp in LF.
