11:31pm: Type A free agents Manny Ramirez and Derek Lowe also declined arbitration, according to Tony Jackson of the L.A. Daily News. The Dodgers will get two picks for each if they sign elsewhere.
10:32pm: According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, Type B free agent Casey Blake turned down the Dodgers' offer of arbitration as expected. The Dodgers stand to gain a draft pick if he signs elsewhere. Blake received a few two-year offers but aims for three.

Dang, the Dodgers will have all kinds of draft picks.

This means that teams will think even more before signing them becasue depending on if they are Type A or type B they have to give a certain round up to the Dodgers. And if the dodgers dont sign them, meaning the ones they offered Arb. to, they will get good young talent and will continue with the youth movent or trade those players later in the year for something they need.
