awww. he's got some really nice stuff.
couple videos on youtube including one of him hitting a MONSTROUS homer lol. It looks like an A-Rod Bomb.
I hope the sox to make him an offer. His cut fastball is incredible.

This is a better way to go than offering 5 years and 15+ year deals to 32 year old Burnett and 35 year old Derik Lowe type pitchers and much safer also. Lots of young stud kids coming up besides Buch and Bowden and no reason to get crazy with obscene FA money to pitchers, might as well save some and see if beckett will be brought back after 2010 and go from there.

"awww. he's got some really nice stuff."
He's got decent stuff, but so did Kei Igawa.
I for one am not at all disappointed he's not in Boston.

The Nikkan Sports article says the Red Sox are "preparing" a deal for Kawakami.
Kawakami has a better mix of stuff than Igawa. Igawa would get hit in Japan on the days his changeup wasn't working.

"igawa probably would've worked out in boston, new york is inept at bringing along pitchers lately, last one was andy pettite"
