Being from the bay area, I am able to watch most of the a's games either in person, or on local tv. And all I can say is that if Dan had regular playing time, I think he would have been a solid contributor. 290-312 AVG. About 18-22 HR. 82 RUN and 82 RBI. Instead, he was in and out of the line up and we all know its hard to be consistent when that happens.

Dan Johnson...one of the greatest speed skaters ever. Good luck making the move to baseball.

while i don't think johnson would consistantly hit .290 i do wish him the best of luck in japan. i imagine he'll have a great time living there and 1.2 million dollars can't hurt.
hopefully he can keep the sunscreen out of his eyes there.

Will be interesting to see what type of numbers he puts up over in Japan. I think he could be a great hitter there.

Dan Johnson would never hit with that average and power Randolph knackstedt, you suck at posting. Good luck to Dan in Japan, maybe he might get some balls.

Wasn't this reported 3 hours previous, in a post by Ben Nicholson-Smith?
