Jolbert Cabrera:
Should get a look this year, the Orioles are always trying someone new at Short Stop anyway.
Robby Hammock:
Should also get a look because the Orioles need insurance in case Wieters goes through trouble in the bigs or Hammock could just add some depth to a team that traded one of their catchers this offseason in Ramon Hernandez.

how much grief do you this Peter SCHMUCK got as a kid?

Gibbons felt bad when he got caught. Before then he was very douchey and very much full of himself. Now he is begging for a job.

I don't know if this is news but according to Roch Kubatko the orioles have been collecting info on Cuban defector, Marti. I suspect they're not the only ones either. Every team needs starting pitching and Marti is considered a quality major league caliber player, one of the best Cuban pitchers, whether or not you believe his age or not

Cabrera will always get a look because of his versatility and his brother. The amazing thing is that people in Venezuela still say, despite their relative successes and failures, that Jolbert is the one who should have been a star.

i still think the os should go after andy marte. hes been a bust since he got to the majors but also hasnt had consistent play time. he ended september last year with around a .300 average and the power should come back too. i think crowley works magic with young players and maybe its worth a shot giving marte a chance.

I remember Jolbert from his days in Cleveland. He was fun to watch play, and I'll never forget his hit that won that frenzy of a game against Seattle. I even saw it in the Hall of Fame!

Hammock will be on the Opening Day roster backing up Zaun... unless Wieters forces the hand of the organization in the Spring, which actually wouldn't surprise me.
