Ryan Howard said a long-term deal with the Phillies would be "beautiful," for what it's worth.

Nice read. Hopefully Heilman rebounds in a familiar surrounding. I haven't been a big fan of Hendry's move this offseason, but I got to hand it to him. He's doing his best by stockpiling decent arms in the bullpen. It's going to be a fiery competition next month!

The Manny conspiracy is bologna, but its possible that after Perez signs and Omar and Boras are sitting there, the focus could shift completely.. eh eh eh cmannnnnn

The Manny thing I believe started on the Dodgers board on ESPN.com. It seemed like some guy just had a bunch of different screen names and kept posting the same bs. It didn't take a lot of work to prove the guy was trolling.

I thought about the ND connection between Heilman and Shark. It should help both guys to be competing against one another and helping eachother pick up new things. You would think Aaron would be happy as could be living near home with a chance to start.
