« Logan Kensing Designated For Assignment | Main | Cafardo's Latest: Stetter, Catalanotto, Pedro »
According to Kevin Baxter of the Los Angeles Times, the Angels have designated left-hander Daniel Davidson for assignment. The 28-year-old reliever had allowed one earned run and three walks in 1 1/3 innings this season. He projects as nothing more than a mediocre middle reliever, but it wouldn't be surprising to see another club claim him.

Watched him the the Angels/Mariners series. He is an interesting lefty submarine pitcher. Could be a nice LOOGY if he hammered out his control.

I'd like to see the Dbacks put a claim on him, so we can get rid of the lefty-specialist that can't get a lefty out to save his life, Doug Slaten. Or Jon Rauch, who has pitched 8 innings and given up 8 runs. The bullpen straight up sucks now. Anybody would help.
