Darvish's velocity chart is insane. The 30 MPH difference between his heater and his curve has to make hitters nauseous.

What are the stipulations for Japanese players to play in the majors exactly?

I heard they have to play 10 years there or something but MLB teams can pay to negotiate with them before that?

Can someone clear that up because I would see it as a great idea for a MLB team to just offer Darvish's Japanese team his whole remaining salary plus another 30-40 million just to talk to him.

Isnt that what the Red Sox did with Dice-K?
