Suprised they didn't bring up Diamond or Vaughn instead...they were doing good out of the pen so far in AAA

It was definitely a matter of time before Holland was in the majors.
Kinda surprised it was this soon.

Holland could be a stud forsure however, keep in mind, he's a power pitcher pitching in a launch pad of a stadium.
That place and that climate is not kind to pitchers at all. But I wish the kid the best and hope he can dazzle because all that team needs is pitching that can keep the ball in the park and some better D to compliment the amazing level of offense they possess.

Holland will work out of the pen initially? Are Kris Benson or Brendan McCarthy really better options for the rotation?

Alright guys, help me out. Are we far enough into the season that Holland because a "Super" player? Seems like Longoria came up in May. I don't see anyone discussing this, but I'm concerned.

I don't think his metaphorical clock gets to be delayed after spending only 2 weeks in the minors.
Let's face it, Texas is rushing him up out of necessity. Their bullpen is atrocious, and they desperately need someone to come in with some heat & some control. Expect Feliz in a few weeks, too - and perhaps Thomas Diamond, as well.

I'm surprised Texas' bullpen was this bad. It looked like a relative strength going into the season.

If Feliz is up in a few weeks, someone in the Texas FO needs to be taken out back and shot. Seriously. This guy is having trouble going deep into games in AAA, and needs to be sent back to AA ball. He shouldn't be in the majors until he shows dominance, period. This is utter stupidity.

No, Feliz doesn't need to be sent back down to AA. He's 2-0 in AAA. But I agree with you on everything else. He definitely needs more time. I'm still surprised Holland got the call before Diamond. There will be more to come, I fully expect to see Diamond, Feliz, and Moscoso this year. Maybe even sooner than later.

You were suprised the bullpen was this bad. I remember leading the blowpen chants at the ballpark last year. CJ Wilson and Guardado are the next to go if they can't figure out how to throw strikes.
