"Bill Shaikin of the LA Times reports that the Angels would like to have Vladimir Guerrero back next year, at the right price. One executive said Vlad could be looking at a contract worth $5-7MM per year, for no more than two years when he becomes a free agent after this season."
Considering what similar, aging sluggers with minimal defensive value got, I would expect Guerrero to land in that range as well.
He might get a little more, because he's got more upside at this point than say, Bobby Abreu or Pat Burrell, but this is also a guy that's clearly in decline.

The Sox are not going to go after Vlad. I hope they can work something out with Bay tho.

I think it would be a good thing for Brian Giles to sign with the Pirates again.
Jason Bay has New York Mets written all over him, there is no way he stays in Boston, he would rather come back to Pittsburgh than stay there.
