As MLB.com's Noah Coslov reports, the Indians released David Dellucci. He was designated for assignment last week. The $11.5MM contract he signed before the 2007 season never paid off for the Indians.

Braves sign him to a minor league deal, give him a shot to earn his way to the majors in AAA. It really can't hurt and he can't really be much worse than what they already have.

I'm pretty sure Barry Bonds couldn't be worse than what they have.

Ah yes the old hook line and sinker "league minimum" Boras move lol
The minute someone gives him a call on Bonds he will say "sure, we'll do it for the league minimum BUT... I want a million per homerun, 2 million per catch in the outfield and 100K for every autograph".

ha.. I hope the Braves pick up another old OF who cant hit. He hasn't been productive since 2006 with Philly, and even then his slugging percentage was inflated because of that ballpark. That Garrett Anderson pickup is working out well with his .652 ops, no?
