Uh...Ben? Haha.
At any rate, now that Maggs is back in, hopefully Boras will shut up.

The problem is that the Mets already did morgage there future, who's left, I lol every time I watch Scott Kazmir pitch, Now thats funny

Hey, mets fans, since we know we aren;t trading our major trading chips, what about cody ross?
Posted by: johan is GOD | June 23, 2009 at 05:25 PM
Raymond, you don't know much about baseball do you? Kazmir is 4-4 with a 7.69 era. Also the mets have a deeper farm then everyone thinks. Thole leading AA in hitting, Holt, and Mejia are very good 19 year old pitching prospect tearing up AA, wilmer flores is 17 and ranked 47 overall, nobody his age is ranked higher. The 2 firstrounders Ike Davis and Reese havens. Davis started to hit for more power and got moved to AA, and havens has a boatload of talent.

what i said about flores is he is 47th in baseball not the mets, he is second for the mets to fernando only because he is 17

If the Tigers release Magglio, are they on the hook for any money next year?
Posted by: bravoboy10 | June 23, 2009 at 07:19 PM
Raymond, do your research before you fart out your mouth. The Mets have more than 3 legit prospects and probably have one of the best hitting catchers in the minors. I don't even know why I'm bothering to start an argument, because the quality of your posts seem to win it for me anyway. Also, can we get over Kazmir? He'd be a solid #2 on higher budget team, but certainly not worth talking about this many years later. It's time to move on.

johan is GOD, Cody Ross is a solid player but he's not going to help us dramatically. Is he really that much better than we are trotting out there right now? I don't really think so. I say we should stay put, keep the farm intact, try to keep our heads above water, and hope we can make a run when we get everyone back. If not, we go out and sign some bats next offseason. We have Delgado and Wagner coming off the books so we should be able to make a run at Holliday and maybe a decent 1B, an Aubrey Huff-type (pretty sure he's a FA). I wouldn't want to make a deal for Ross or DeRosa or anyone like that though.
