LOL Youkilis or Lester to the Orioles? for who? Wieters? Markakis? Why would the Red Sox trade those 2?

Is DeCaster the Netherlands player from the WBC?

hypothetically, Lester would be the model kind of guy for the O's, they need a solid 1/2 starter to lead the club

As bad as Castillo can be, he is playing better this year and doesn't cause problems like Bradley. Maybe if the Cubs threw in Zambrano.

Im tired of fans overeacting over these its just like a proposal it doent mean that they are actually gonna trade them a guy can dream im sure you johan is god would love to trade for let say halladay or something its just making conversation.

Boston media is already going bonkers over Lowell and his hip. Nobody knows, he may be back playing tomorrow night even, or 2, 3 days and the entire Red Sox fan base (nearly) is going crazy worrying.. Lowrie/Kotsay and Youkilis can play the 1B/3B position for several weeks if Lowell needs to take time off, it's not like an all season thing, or as bad as Lowrie missing 3 months like he did this year already..

LOL @ one of the comments on the Baltimore Sun site. The Oriole's can take Dice-K.... PLEASE. He can make the team egg rolls!

Let me say now that unless the blue jays trade Halladay to the Yankees or Red Sox he will never play for them.

Its simple really, if the Jays can't resign Halladay they are going to trade him. Any team that trades for him is going to want an extension and the jays will want that as well because it means they get more in return.

"As bad as Castillo can be, he is playing better this year and doesn't cause problems like Bradley. Maybe if the Cubs threw in Zambrano."

What is it with Mets fans always fantasizing about getting Z. It's not gonna happen, but as for the recent deal proposal, I like it and they should pull the trigger on it.

The Mets already have a corner outfielder with injury issues, who should probably be playing DH in Sheffield. They need a bat that can actually play the field. Having Sheffield and Bradley in the corners would be the type of obviously huge risk that... well, the type that Omar Minaya doesn't recognize as risky.

ANYONE thinking the Red Sox would trade Youkilis or Lester is hilarious. Theo Epstein locked these guys up long-term this spring for a reason.

You guys are stupid. It says if you could steal one player off the Sox roster, who would it be? It's not asking who the O's should try and trade for. Read before you react.

trust me mets' fans there is no chance in H E double hockey sticks that you are getting z from the cubs. cubs would ask way to much from the mets, and the mets wouldnt want to take the chance on trading away too many pieces of their championship, lol just made myself laugh, puzzle.

as for castillo for bradley, as a cubs fan, i would like it. cubs could use castillo at second. if soriano can actually be moved from the lead-off spot, wishfull thinking, castillo could lead-off for the cubs. again just spectulation, so i give it about a 20% chance of happening. most of the percentage is wishfull thinking.

anybody knows castillo's numbers this season. vs lefties and rigties.

with trade, new cub line-up
2b castillo
ss the "riot" (or theriot castillo, your choice, this is mine)
3b rameriz (when he comes back)
1b lee (has better numbers in 4 spot this year)
lf soriano
rf hoffpauir/fox platoon
c soto
cf fukudome/johnson platoon

again this is all wishfull thinking, but hendry will not do this because trading bradley away would prove that is acquistion of bradley was a mistake. which to me, it was.

"the mets wouldnt want to take the chance on trading away too many pieces of their championship, lol just made myself laugh, puzzle."

I'm not a fan of either team, but I just think these are ironic words from someone who has spent their lifetime (FanSinceBirth) rooting for the cubs.
