Any guesses on Conor bouncing back to 100% and being a great late-round fantasy pick-up?
jimithin9
you fail to mention he had kind of a down season BECAUSE HE ALMOST DIED
bbxxj
Yeah, its kinda hard to OPS over .800 when you are busy almost dieing.

I think it should be pointed out why he struggled last year, he lost 30 pounds due to Valley Fever.
NickEustrom
Yeah, I think it’s important to mention the root of his struggles: a bout with Valley Fever and the fact that he lost over 30 pounds. I’m glad that the D-Backs were classy about the situation and didn’t try to low ball him.

Did we mention Valley Fever??? 😉

I think I should repeat what’s already been said: He almost died.
vtadave
So what you’re saying is, he almost died. Got it.
venn177
No, I’m saying that he was close to dying.

How does one miss almost a whole year and have what would amount to his arbitration forced salary go up? Meaning, the Dbacks wouldn’t have paid him more than last year if they weren’t under the impression that arbitration would grant him a higher salary.
