Forsythe is an awesome name.
Ferrariman
Let Crawford go and take the 2 draft picks. Rays have potentially a better player in Jennings. Pena..see if he bites on a 3yr deal

Agree that the Rays should let Crawford go and direct resources elsewhere, but simply thinking you can plug in Desmond Jennings and not miss a beat is foolish.

Even if Forsythe moves to secound he could always shift back to third if needed. I think its a good thing for prospects to gain positionaly flexability as this will not only make it easier for them to join their own club, but give them for value in potenial trades.
Its more important for prospects to worry about progressing their bat rather then playing everyday at one position.

I would not screw with a man who has the last name “Forsythe.”

I think that the real international growth of the game is testified by the international players on the 40-man rosters, and that number is increasing. I made a research and the non-USA born players on the 40-man rosters at the opening day were 366 (31,72%); the same research, I made in 2004, revealed that 29,42% of players on 40-Man rosters were foreign players: after six years, the percentage is increased by 2,3%. Let CC walk (this will hurt especially if he signs with Boston or New York…), replace him with Jennings. Let Pena go and either sign a new young 1B or put their new Cuban signing at 1B. Let Burrell go and replace him with a cardboard cutout and then try to resign Rafael Soriano and give Upton and Garza long term deals with all the money saved
