I was just going to say that I hope their is no arguments for the HOF for this one.

He made about $32 million in his 15-year career. I don’t think there’s any HOF discussion in his future; not with a .275/.328/.433 line with only 186 HRs and 756 RBI. His career OPS+ was below 100.
I like this for the lack of sarcasm detection. Thank you.

nice guy i went to school with his younger brother and i can tell you from the couple of times i had met him that he was truley a funny guy and someone who truely loved the game. best of luck rich in ur next career.
Richie was a fan favorite, and since I was a shortstop when I was a kid in NorCal I looked up to him. I always threw my bat when I struck out in high school as a nod to him.

Solid ballplayer and as mentioned, a local favorite. Def not HOF worthy but he had a nice career and should make it to the Giant’s HOF or whatever the team has.

Richie will make the Giant wall of fame at 24 Willie Mays Plaza. They have bronze plagues with players who played for them at least 5 years and made an all-star team. Richie definitely has a bright career as a broadcaster.
