What’s wrong with two lefties in the pen? Sounds ideal to me.

I think that they would be happy to carry two lefties if they were the right ones. But, Schoeneweis has 7 walks and 8 runs in 10.2 IP. Let’s clear up the roster spot! :O)

The only thing worse than Schoeneweis’s arm is his attitude. He went out like a punk in Milwaukee, taking shots at everyone and whining all the way. A total prima donna with a 7 something ERA.

I happen to like Schoeneweis and more people should respect his ability. Too bad, we have so many “know-it -alls” who want to make demeaning comments with someone who still has enough ability to pitch in the major leagues.

So because he’s a major leaguer fans arent allowed to criticize?
There’s nothing wrong with fans wanting an upgrade over a player who isnt that good.
Fangaffes
If he still has all that ability, he’d better start showing it in the next small number of days.

I would respect his ability if he ever proved he had it. He’s had a very weak year so far. Heck, when he came into a 17-4 game against the Angels, suddenly it was 17-8 and I could feel myself get nervous. Sure, they still had 9 runs to go, but Schoeneweis looked completely hittable. Sorry, but unless he starts pitching like a major-league pitcher, I’m not going to give him the respect of one.

good. I can’t believe we wasted a roster spot on him for this long. We need some more quality BP arms. Perhaps bonser could help? At least better than Schoenweis.
