Joe can you come to the reds please? 🙂
Adam Lenon
I was going to say the same thing. Time for a farewell song to Dusty…like…ASAP! These wins are not helping the can Dusty campaign, and Dusty is not who I want managing a team with Chapman, Leake, Bailey, and Cueto in the starting rotation next year…

Very well said Adam, Dusty needs to go bad, we have alot of valuable prospect arms coming up next year i would Love for Joe Torre to manage the reds to the playoffs. Joe said he isnt searching for a job at 70 but he dont have to just have Walt call him

It should be noted by people reading this that we are 14-17 because we have had 6 guys, including Padilla, Furcal, Manny and Kuo(and Belisario was on the RL) all on the DL in the first 30 games. No fault to Torre.
I want Torre to come back because I think he is a great influence on the clubhouse and will be a huge piece if we ever get to the WS

I think if the Dodgers find a way to trade for Oswalt that it would show Torre they’re still serious about winning even w/ the current financial situation. I think Roy Oswalt is exactly what the Dodgers need however I’m not sure Roy would want to play for the Dodgers, they’re a different clubhouse enviorment to say the least. I think Roy has always really wanted to play for the Cardinals but they don’t have the financials or prospect to get him plus he’s really not needed unless they could somehow dump Loshe

The Dodger situation is a train wreck, and at 70 years old Joe may decide to spend more time at the track. Torre was an above average ballplayer, and a hall of famer as a manager
and I would imagine McCourt would want a cheaper manager, Torre makes to much money.

I was pretty pleased a couple years ago when Torre’s Dodgers made the playoffs and the Yankees missed. Torre deserves to be managing a team that’s going for it at this point. A shame the Dodgers’ ownership situation is a mess.
