I wouldn’t be upset if Inge got brought back on a one year deal, the 3b FA class next year isn’t that impressive

Angles need to pick him up. They need a good hitting third basemen. Their infield is wiped by injuries

.316 OBP isn’t exactly “good hitting.”

I agree its not “great” but he is a lot better than Wood (.182 OBP) and Iztruis (.322 OBP but only 15 RBI’s and no pop). I would much rather have someone of a Zimmerman or Wright calibar….Good Luck.

As a Tigers fan, I might be the one person who just cannot stand Inge. Would rather Cantu, or even better, competing for Beltre with the free cash we have. We are devoid of prospects at 3B, discounting this years draft, and locking up Beltre for a couple years would give Castellanos time to develop without the need to rush him.
