I Wonder If The Red Sox Will Pursue Him?
Ian_Smell
I’ve been really happy with how Dotel’s been performing, but I am even happier because that bum Capps is gone.

me too buddy, capps is a bum. meek is obviously the future closer. dotel’s been fun to have around but it would be nice if we could get something solid for him.

In spite of a bit of a rough start he has performed pretty well, much better than I think most people expected him to. This will certainly raise his trade value, especially if he keeps pitching as he has of late, if they choose to go down that road.

I have a feeling the Pirates package him with Duke to Philly. Dotel would either fill in for often injured Lidge or be an outstand 8th inning guy. Duke would be there number 3 which they need bad. Happ is hurt and Moyer is to old to do anything in the playoffs. Any deal needs to be for bats cause we loaded up on pitching in our last 2drafts.
We have Meek and Hanerhan to take over the colser role.
