I would hate to see Rick Hahn out of the White Sox organization. He will be a great GM one day

You left out Jeff Wilpon…he’s already the Mets GM and with his impressive qualifications and “skill set” he may receive much interest from many teams.

The Yankees can’t afford to lose Oppenheimer. He’s a big part of the organization.

I’d add Tony LaCava of the Jays. I believe he’s had interviews with the Pirates and M’s for their GM jobs, and I wouldn’t have been surprised if he had got the Jays job over Anthopoulos.

One problem with Heyman here: the Yankees have an organizational policy that they don’t allow front office executives under long term contracts to interview for other jobs. Yes Kevin Towers signed elsewhere, but he was under a one year deal – I raise this point because it means Oppenheimer is really not on the market this year.
