What about Joe Kerrigan? Has former ties with the Yankees.

As much I would hate losing him as a fan, Righetti has to be at or near the top of the list for a Yankees pitching coach search. However, I think he likes it in SF and doesn’t have any plans of leaving. He has been here for a while.
Henry Castellanos
Righetti is staying. He has Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Jonathan Sanchez, Madison Bumgarner(all under 27)and an excellent bullpen to work with.

But what if he’s interested in more of challenge (recovering AJ and Joba, and developing Hughes) or wants to prove his work in SF is no fluke?

dave knows about losing in NY and how the fans get. in the early-mid-80’s i remember him being like a god in NY but by the time 89/90 came, the papers ran him out of here.
u have to have a certain personality type to handle the criticism that comes with playing here when u dont win.

Love to see another great baseball mind in the Padres fold.

As a Braves fan, I find the hiring of Alderson very disturbing. I really hope the Wilpon crew screws this up, too.

I love the idea of the Mets bringing DePodesta to the fold, but they better keep Ricciardi far, FAR away. He’s a recipe for disaster. Ask Toronto.
