I really hope Cora gets it.
Matt
agreed. Valentine is horrible with young players and the Brewers are basically a young team. I see Bob Melvin managing the mets and Cora deserves a shot with the Brewers.

i’m tired of hearing how Bobby Valentine is the leading candidate for everyone. First it was the Marlins (twice) then the Mariners, now the Brewers? even if him coming back to the Mets made sense, i wouldn’t want it anymore
Al Briggs
i just want someone to hire this guy so i dont have to listen to his inaccurate babbling every night on espn.
Sage
I’d agree, but it’s my team that wants to hire him and his inaccuracy.
Sage
I really, really, really, really hope that Bobby V prices himself out of the Brewers job. I want Cora.
PookieGonzales
Ya man Cora desevres it. Like alot. Still one of my favorate alltime redsox.
Jaime Pearson
Joey Cora never played for the Red Sox. He played for the White Sox. Alex Cora played for the Red Sox.
Jaime Pearson
I think the Brewers best choice would be Cora, but as a White Sox fan I hope he stays. I don’t know why Valentine is always the leader for these jobs, he’s proven himself to be a mediocre manager. It’s like every other sport, give it to the guy with experience even if it’s been bad.

God help the Brewers

Anybody, Even Bobby Valentine is better than Ken Macha, Plus i would like to see him cry everytime the Cards thrash them.
Sam_Lee
Yeah, Macha was into all that statistics and stuff while great managers like LaRussa use their well preserved guts to double switch in the Aaron Miles and Stavinohas of the world.
cedarandstone
Yeah, LaRussa is such a hack.
Slopeboy
Heyman’s had Valentine as the manager of every team available, he’s bound to get one right…no?
invader3k
It sounds like the only holdup is probably what Valentine will demand money-wise. Supposedly he wants 3 years and around $10 million, which is comparable to what Joe Girardi makes with the Yankees.

Bobby Valentine: master of disguise, defier of the toss.
