Bryan
Definitely not Seven though
Dave_Gershman
If the Marlins can afford him, I think he’d be a fine fit there.
xfipMachine
Oh yea, the Marlins who said they have 3-4 million left to spend this entire winter earlier today. Perfect sense.
moonraker45
They need to free up some payroll first… perhaps shipping Hanley off for a middle reliever and a super utility type.
John
I just wish one of them would sign already. But they are probably all waiting for Lee to make his move so they up the price on their services once a team has locked him up. “Six or Eight”? A list of these “teams” perhaps?
Tom
woops
Tom
Just keep him out of the AL Central, that’s all I ask…I am so sick of hearing him called a Tiger Killer its ridiculous. Also I hope his contract has a clause that he cant have that ridiculous mustache.

Fear the Pavstache!
TwinsVet
His mustache has been vital to his resurgence. Like a cat’s tail, it provides him critical balance during his delivery, and has therefore drastically improved his mechanics. If he shaves the stache, he starts getting his shoulders out in front of his hips too quickly again. The stache slows his upper body and his shoulders stay back.

I haven’t read anything in a long time that made me laugh so hard.
moonraker45
I wish I could like that comment more then once. well done
Hoosierdaddy92
why do you think he pitched so poorly on the yankees? they make their players shave. A similar occurrence was acknowledged when Randy Johnson and AJ Burnett joined the Yankees.
Jason Graening
I’m guessing one of the six or eight teams is not the Yankees.
mantle23
I read these comments to just see if someone had the same thoughts i did
LifeLongYankeeFan
I was thinking that when I first saw the article and if they do sign him I won’t be a Yankee fan anymore lol. Also I live in Torrington, CT a small town and one of the kids that I work with is Pavanos cousin and hes a Yankee fan. I feel bad for him but in reality thats pretty cool.
twins33
Ha, that must be mixed emotions for that guy.
moonraker45
do cool staches run in the family?
LifeLongYankeeFan
No cool staches are only Pavanos thing and while he may mixed emotions about Pavano I sure as he double hockey sticks don’t.
TapDancingTeddy
Not after what happened with Nick Johnson last year. Cashman wants to keep his job.
twins33
I’d love to have him back, but not for something expensive. I’m pretty sure quite a few teams could easily outbid us for him. I’d have no problem taking picks, but I’d like him back. Any more than 2/15ish is too much though.
LUWahooNatFan
Wouldn’t mind seeing the Nationals pick up Pavano, De la Rosa, and Vasquez
TapDancingTeddy
When he was with the Yankees it was six to eight teams of doctors speaking to Pavano. Daily.
InLeylandWeTrust
I don’t care who signs him as long as it isn’t the Twins
