Joel Naughton could be a pleasant surprise, if he stays healthy. Showed the potential to be a good, all-aroud hitter in 2010. I would rather see him in a Phillies uniform as a depth / injury replacement as opposed to Dane Sardinha. Lol. He still needs some seasoning though.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Michael Schwimer or Michael Stutes make the bullpen either. They both have great stuff. Stutes needs to work on control though.

Letting go of Delwyn Young is the only offseason mistake that the Pirates have made. So far…

I agree. It’s going to be difficult to find somebody else that can hit .236 and not play a single position on the field well.

Delwyn Young will forever be known as the “random guy who hit the first HR off Stephen Strasburg”

Every teams’ fans that loses him (ok, Pirates & Dodgers) misses him and wishes there was a spot for him on the team. As a Dodger fan, if he was a RH hitter, which of course he’s not, I’d have loved to see him come back. Philly will like him, I’d hope.
