I wonder if there was a case where the team filed for more than the player. EG team said player was worth 6million while player said he was worth 5million.

Is this a joke?
Kevin Chambers
No.

the reason they go to arbitration is because they can’t come to terms on a contract; so they already know/have a grasp as to what the other side wants…
If they were already ready to pay the player what he wanted (or more), they wouldn’t be going to arbitration.
Although, I suppose… it is technically possible? I think…
Kevin Chambers
Its possible, but once the player saw the team thought he was more he would sign for their amount. They don’t release what they think they are worth till after a certain date, so until than they don’t know. Thats at least what I know.

Scott was a shoe-in to win this case.
Giorgi Almonte
a lot of money for him!!

Good, now he has all the money he needs to continue his batshit crazy pursuit of Obama’s birth certificate.

That would make a good episode of Eastbound and Down. Kenny could mouth off about Obama to his gym class and to buyers at Ashley’s BMW dealership.

He should make the homerun derby contest this year. Luke hits BOMBS. Almost as far as Reynolds, but from the left side.
