The Tigers transferred Zumaya to the 60 day DL which should have freed up a spot on the 40 man, yeah?
Pawsdeep
I believe you would be correct on the freed spot on the 40 man for zumaya.

‘the second-place Royals host the first-place Indians…’
How weird is it to read that?

If it were close to October it would be mind boggling…
In April, not so much….

Both clubs know that the world is coming to an end in 2012.
They’re looking to win this year.

Teahan is actually hitting well enough fit some team to trade for him. Teahan for a sold bullpen piece would work for both teams. A team that has a good pen and could use a bat. The dodgers maybe?

They just said on Tigers Live that Victor Martinez is on the 15 day disabled list. After watching him yesterday, this is not surprising at all.
Pawsdeep
No. He could barely run the bases. The guy if definitely a warrior though—he was hurting pretty bad and still managed to hit a single with a pulled groin. He was even fighting leyland out there on second about him yanking him from the game. Dudes a gamer, for sure.
JacksTigers
Why do you say no? I watched him yesterday and it was evident that he was hurt. I’m not sure what we aren’t agreeing on.
Pawsdeep
I meant it as “no it’s not suprising”. I was agreeing with you.
My fault for not providing a complete sentence in context, but rather a half sputtered sentence fragment full of holes.
You’re right–he was never the most fleet of foot guy, but he was definitely hurting running the bases.
