masterson hasn’t gotten enough love this season; quite a breakout year for the kid. looks like he’s learned not to be afraid of lefties. they can still hit him a little too well, but as long as he throws strikes and lets the movement on his pitches do the work things should end up pretty good for him

I don’t see how Sizemore’s more option is worth exercising. When he wasn’t hurt, he was terrible. The Indians have a ton of outfielders so why do they need him?

one reason among several others is that if he plays to his ability he can bring back some legitimate young talent in a trade. of, if they contend, because he’s a lot better than any of their other outfielders

I think it’s funny that the Twins choose the $20,000 over any of the players that the Indians offered. Even some class A reliever, the 250th pick from 2006, should be worth more than $20,000 to a team with a depleted farm system like the Twins.
