Borchering will probably end up as trade bait. Matt Davidson is the 3b of the future with goldschmidt and parra in the prsent

Whatever it takes to rid the Dodgers of the disease that is Frank McCourt…..

I second that. The trial is set for Oct. 12th. Could be a happy day for us.

Anyone want to join me in a friend-of-the-court brief?

I’m surprised that a random Dodgers fan hasn’t tried to firebomb his car. I’m no Dodgers fan, pretty much because I had a boss who was a belligerent one, but the team has a great history. It just seems pathetic that they’re getting dragged through the mud by McCourt.

HAHAHA. Careful there, this is the city of LA you are talking about when mention things like firebombs and unrest.

I’m surprised that there hasn’t been more discussion of this situation. Or for that matter, that this article didn’t warrant a full write-up by one of the MLBTR writers. This seems like a HUGE issue for MLB at this point!
And the very idea of suspending the Dodgers organization if McCourt isn’t gone … wow. How THAT would screw up MLB’s schedule next season!
bobraines
They are not talking about suspending the Dodgers unless McCourt goes, only if he goes ahead with the broadcast auction and actually signs a contract. That threat just about kills any value McCheap might get from a broadcast deal. Where’s Mark Cuban when you need him?
Crucisnh
MLB isn’t fond of Mark Cuban, but they may find that he’s a much better option than McCourt… if only because he’s got a lot more money.

How did the Dbacks trade Dan Haren in the future?

Was thinking the same thing.
