so I know the cubs have a good core with epstein mcleod and hoyer plus fleita and wilken but how would that rank if there were a power ranking?
No Neck
Diamondbacks so cheap they will just absorb DiPoto’s old seat into the poor scouts and farm director…

Or maybe it’s just that they feel they have guys inside their organizations that can do an excellent job and know what their doing.

porque se fue Gwynn de los Padres de San Diego?
NYPOTENCE
Porque tenia fuertes conexiones con Jed Hoyer, quien se unio con Theo Epstein en Chicago.

I would love to see Dan Duquette get another chance as a GM.

Ditto and surprised took this long for anyone, like yourself to post anything positive about the Duke. He was decent enough, not outstanding and did go outside the country really well with International FA, notably Hanley Ramirez and Anibel Sanchez. Put together many pieces on the 2004 WS team Epstein got credit for, yet was torn apart by the Boston media (go figure) throughout his rein. for nearly everything he did.
He had a couple of flaws IMO, one being his affliction (too much) with sticking with Kevin Kennedy too long, another clubhouse patsy as manager and constantly grabbing every single waiver wire refugee it seemed. Whether or not it was Kennedy that liked vets over his kids not sure, but it got old watching the likes of the O’Leary’s, Tinsley’s, Hasselman’s etc…
