Colletti? Staying? Nooooooooooooo!!!!

Jim Tracy needs to go. I’m tired of him drawing the lineup out of a hat everyday.

Ed Wade should not only be fired, he should be investigated! He is a “First Rate Jack Wagon!”
As a side note, Casey G, what is wrong with the job Colletti and the job he is doing?
I think he’s done a pretty good job considering the circumstances.
PS If they fired Colletti, which I doubt, I would be happy if he joined Team Oriole. That would be acceptable to me.

Colletti is in a really tough position with that ownership situation. I feel for him, even not being a Dodgers fan. The one plus for the Dodgers is that that division has some good competition but none of the teams are powerhouses. A few smart moves (if Colletti is allowed) and the Dodgers should be right back in the thick of it.

when Colletti was allowed to spend, he signed Jason Schmidt, Bill Mueller, Luis Gonzalez, Andruw Jones, Juan Pierre, re-signed Manny Ramirez, Nomar Garciaparra and Casey Blake, and most recently gave $24 million to Juan Uribe and $15 million on Matt Guerrier. Here’s hoping that Colletti is not allowed to spend

The Dodgers were successful despite Ned Colletti. Once most of his signed failures got hurt, the team excelled with youngsters who were drafted by Logan White(again despite Ned Colletti)
Dodger fans hope for new ownership and new GM.

FWIW, Kenny Williams gave an interview on WGN Radio a day or two after Ozzie left, and while he wouldn’t talk about the terms of his contract, he did say that in 2 years he and Reinsdorf will look at where they are and discuss his future. He also hinted, no surprise, at a complete (or at least thorough) rebuild for the White Sox.

“While the Royals don’t expect any on-field success right now, the onus is on Yost to ensure that Kansas City’s wealth of young prospects continue to develop.”–Evidence that the author of this summary has not done any research. Who is this guy? Some east coast arrogant reporting who is too lazy to go outside his office?

that was my thought as soon as I read that

“expect Sabean and Bochy to be in San Francisco for years to come.”
Shoot me now please

This is how I feel when they said they may re-sign Baker. God I hate him.

quade was meat as soon as hendry was bounced. just too many moments of… “uh… what’s this guy doing?” at times it felt like he was NOT doing things because everyone was crying for him TO do them, then vice versa. nice guy, but NOT a major league manager in the least.

Leyland is a great guy, developer of young talent and would like to see him stay in the game. not to mention still wears old timey steel spikes and can remember when he managed the lakeland Tigers, with a YOUNG “Sweet Lou” Whitaker, Kirk Gibson and others.. This guy was a chain smoker in the dugout.. Cigarette smoke was always rolling out of their dugout, didn’t have to be in Lakeland, road games and all..He didn’t care.
One of the last of this type left in the game, if not THE last.

The quality of this writing is laughable at best. I didn’t realize that in sports everyone stays around for years and years! No one is moving, being fired, etc. Hooray.
