Just an FYI, link is for the wrong Edgar Gonzalez.
philliesfan136
No it’s not. Edgar Gonzalez the P did play for the Rockies this year and is formerly of the Giants and D’Backs. He has not played the OF though.

Huh? The link takes you to the Edgar Gonzalez who played for the Padres (and is the brother of Adrian Gonzalez). The Edgar Gonzalez mentioned is a pitcher.

I know, I thought you were talking about the Twitter link, not the BR link. My mistake.

the Jays are really trying to make their organization look appealing to everyone, soon everyone will want to play for them.

Hope Johnson comes back to the Rays. Although he sucks for the majority of the year, he is worth having for that one at-bat late in the year. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the yanks or sox go after him just so the Rays can’t have that potential spark late in the season

I’m glad the Jays released him. If they know they’re not going to use him, or that he’ll be a career AAAA player, at least give him a chance to make it somewhere else.
I have nothing but respect for the guy. Suffers a career ending injury and in turn works his as* off to get where he is today.

The way the Jays broadcast team was talking about Loewen he was going to a big part of the future. But they really seem to hype everyone.
Hope he catches on with someone. I still remember the great game he pitched against team USA.
