So none of the teams expected to pursue Reyes appear likely to do so because (a) he’s going to be too expensive, (b) he’s perceived as being kind of a d-bag, (c) those teams all have much more pressing concerns to spend on, and/or (d) nobody really feels like they need him.
Maybe the Mets actually can resign him…
