The number of people who liked the other two comments condemning it outnumbered his original comment.

Well now you’ve got me. It’s not like the same individuals could have liked both comments, like yourself. Oh, wait…
Go try your logic on a second grader. You might find it more sporting.

I’m not too surprised either, just losing patience. And unfortunately don’t have any catching prospects who are ready for the majors. But I agree, Molina would probably be better

I hear ya. The Bucs cant seem to find the long term solution behind the plate. As for Molina, he would not be a good starter. Trust me, he had that spot for a little while when Posada was injured in 2008, and it didn’t work out very well. Molina is a backup, a good one at that. While Rod isn’t the long term answer, he is a good stopgap (overpaid though) and can buy time until Tony Sanchez is ready (hopefully he isn’t a bust).

I’d agree with you if we hadn’t signed him for twice his worth. Hell make more in 2012 than he did in 2010 and 2011 combined. Below-average 36 year-olds shouldn’t be receiving the highest annual salary of their career..

Salary wise, it’s too much money for a 36 year old catcher who isn’t much better than Doumit (if any better). It reminds me of Overbay a little too much. His salary should have been no more than his 2011 salary. If it didn’t come with the $4 Million dollar price tag, it would be a great signing.

No prob for the Dodgers, have this up-and-coming guy named Carlos San…. DOH!
