300K isn’t a bad deal to play outside of MLB on a one year deal….Especially if you like the Korean ladies.

Trust me. He’s getting paid much more than that. Korean baseball league has an upper limit on how much foreign players can get paid, but all teams pay the foreign players way more cash than is allowed by the league rule under the table. Most of the Korean fans are speculating that he’s really being paid around $1.5 mil or maybe even more.

Correct, all the foreign players get paid more than the KBO imposed salary cap (300-350K). Talbot’s deal is worth 1.1 million dollars from what I’ve been told.
