CONTENDERS!!!!
Snoochies8
Knee Jerk to losing Ryan Braun!
but really, depth signing, nothing more nothing less. Hell, maybe he’ll be used in another blockbuster trade like the one for Rasmus!
rockfordone
To think he was the third overall pick in the draft.
Guest 4835
wasn’t that strong of a draft class.
rockfordone
wrong -could have had CC Sab.
Snoochies8
still doesn’t make it a strong class
Lunchbox45
16 teams could have had that pick whats your point?

PRETENDERS!!!!
Encarnacion's Parrot
He’s a proven versatile benchwarmer on a World Series champion team. Shouldn’t he be good enough to get a major league contract then?
#endsarcasm.

Sadly, the Cardinals left him off their post season roster, taking a minor leaguer instead. He did not get to keep the bench warm during the World Series, but I hear he had a good view from his couch.

I SMELL A PENNANT!!!
Joe Schroeder
He’s pretty much useless at the big league level.
Corey 2
His unwillingness to lay off pitches and lay one down in key situations has led to his demise. The result is a player who is below average in the outfield as well as at the plate. Not to mention, he has speed but is too careless with it. (pickoffs & CS)
I hope they start him!
mmiller54
This guy was the inspiration for the term: “replacement player” as a comparison in WAR. Lol
FreshMintt
He should recoup just about all of Prince’s lost production
Alex Grady
The mere fact that UZR has CP as an average defender shows how much room for improvement there is with advanced defensive metrics.

But hasen’t been invited to Spring Training yet.

(Crosses fingers) THIS will be the year…

Why
Scottastic
Both Corey Patterson and Jamey Wright have somehow played in the majors for over 10 years. I was a terrible hitter, but I had a darn good glove and arm in CF AND I knew how to lay down a bunt. Something tells me I picked the wrong damn career…

Just remember this anytime someone starts talking about baseball’s new smarter GM’s.
