What about Max Ramirez?
twentyfivemanroster
They are more interested in a catch and throw guy than a no hit, no catch guy.
Eduardo Medina
maybe, he´s on fire in spring training
Henry 2
miracles happen but not miracles that big
ericKC64
What is the Status of Jason Kendall? At least he’s familiar with most of the staff.
jacks100
He’s in a wheelchair
Eduardo Medina
Kendall in a wheelchair is a better option than all the KC catchers right now…
Stuart Brown
Castro seems like he would be a good fit despite his age.
Platoon him and Pena until Perez is healthy.
Henry 2
yea but they r more likely 2 get pudge since he brings more hits and they can even keep him for the rest of the year as an option, i know i would
mhunke
Where’s Greg Zaun when you need him?
ukJaysfan
He’s busy annoying Toronto fans.
gmenfan 2
Not sure why the Giants are assuming that Chris Stewart is the odd man out. Atleast Stewart is a good defender, Eli Whiteside is as impotent with the bat as he is with the glove. No clue why the Giants brought him back nor why them seem hell bent to hold on to him.
“But, but, but … he caught Jonathan Sanchez’s no-hitter !” Uggh …
Henry 2
they should get castro and release whiteside and the royals get pudge. problem solved especially since their both cheap
gmenfan 2
Giants should get Castro ? Nah, just release Whiteside and keep Stewart and Hector Sanchez to backup Posey. Addition by subtraction.
BeisbolJunkie
Send Whiteside to KC so he can be Sanchez’ battery mate again.
gmenfan 2
Happily. Looks like Sanchez could use some familiar surroundings considering his grossly subpar spring.
zoinksscoob
Mariners could trade either Olivo or Jaso to KC with idea of eventually moving Montero behind the plate and having Adam Moore as the backup.
Henry 2
good point but pudge is their guy

Francisco Cervelli plus a AAA pitcher (we have several blocked now) like David Phelps (from St. Louis) for Chestor Cuthbert? I think Phil Hughes would be an overpay. Maybe another lower level prospect to go with Phelps?
Lunchbox45
Jeff Mathis for a bag of balls and a tub of chewing gum
lefty177
idk, I think Double Bubble would be an overpay, Big League Chew then yeah I’d be all for it
